Hi,

as mine (EME-155 & EME-231) are damaged I am looking for floppy drives for my Joyce/8256.

How damaged are they? Can't they be fixed?

I have an EME-231 here, that you could have, but I need to check if it works first.

Hi.

At first I've checked the belts - both were broken so I replaced them.
The heads aren't moving - I took off the motors works (as You wrote on CPCwiki) and checked movement manually and it.
I checked voltage for heads and there is maximum 4.2 volts (it should be 12V?).

There is all I can do ;)

Ok. If you don't have any luck finding new drives, you could send the broken drives to me for repair. However, I need to see if I can borrow a PCW to test them as I no longer own one.

Bryce.
