Me is cheap so I`m now after.........................

I need an adapter for a 20 pin PSU to a 24 PIN

or

A PSU that has the 24 pin connector and the 4 pin one, Don`t mind if it has not got GFX card connectors on

Got around £10 to £20 for this

I think the 24 pins is cuttable to 20 pins - if you need the extra mobo connector it's on sale on ebay like every other piece

I did not check the cheapest piece, I wanted you to have the right keywords to look for. Me thinks cheap enough. Basically you can convert anything :p But do not have adaptor on adapter on adapter, certainly if you select cheapest pieces. I had my fare share of probs with pc's because of that. A well powered psu for the job, together with some soldering skills might proove better.

Thanks for that jvdbossc I`ll probably go for link 2

The only 2 that I have that have 24 wires on them are in use and I have a few unused atx PSUs knocking about, Have no intention of building a monster machine just need test mobo and gfx card works

Have fun with them. I personally "stock" this kind of material, since if I would go to a store they would charge me for sure x 10 that ... Even a pcmica usb2.0 card is hard to get here (n)
