Amiga CD32/HD Compilation toolkit screenshots

Have anyone successfully created any screenshots for AMS (used in Amiga CD32/HD compilation kit)? I've tried several times converting screenshots to the AMS palette without success, it just ends up blank in the menu.
Can anyone give me a hand on how to do this? I'm using Linux (and Amiga obviously.)
The compilation kit does have a bunch of screenshots, but there's alot missing, i.e. Alien Breed 3D and Base Jumpers.

Seriously? No one?
Now, I've gone and tried every possible way to get this to work, but AMS absolutely refuses to show me the screenshot.
It should look like the attached image, but it's blank. I've got all the right sizes, right colors and format.
What am I missing?
