I need one which will allow me to connect a 44pin laptop + a 40 pin together at the same time.

something like this i guess http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/cat ... cts_id=532 (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=42&products_id=532) but maybe not as overkill.

Also i have a rgb>vga box but i dont seem to have any rgb>rgb cables to use with it so if anyone has one of those spare that would be great :)

cheers

located in the UK by the way

Hiya m8y & Welcome to AmiBay. :D

You can edit your Profile & enter your Location. Doing this will allow prospective punters to see just where in the world you are as a glance & even consider Pick up &/or delivery.

Best Wishes & good luck,

Kin

Not that the Gibbon requires me to answer for him - he's quite capable of speech

He's just down the road from me - Grantham :)

I may have a cable but won't get a chance to look until later tonight.

Apologies - the lead I was thinking of was just a converter from 40 to 44 pin and only allows one unit to be connected.

I couldn't look at your AmigaKit link from work as it's one of the sites we are locked out from - bluddy IT department  I didn't realise you were referring to an IDEFIX hardware solution

If no one have it for you, Vesalia sell this exactly type of cable. Look at their site and be happy!

@TheFunkyGibbon

I think I saw your user name on Aimga.org or EAB and in the thread I was reading you mentioned that you lived in Grantham :)

I still don't see his Avatar changed to reflect this, despite him posting since being asked!

@ FunkyGibbon

If you would rather not, you only have to say!

When I said "Vesalia" (Germany), I meant this IDE cable (http://www.vesalia.de/e_252525.htm). Very cheap.

@ Kin Hell
ok done... I dont tend to like putting location bits like that in public forums if at all possible, but it seems as though it is a necessity here so please see that I have now changed my "avatar" to reflect this.

@ rkauer
that still comes to nearly 11 + shipping. the British Pound is pretty crap against the Euro at the moment. Thanks anyway

Any one have either of these laying about gathering dust?

We can't enforce it cos of the Data Protection act etc, otherwise it would be a mandatory field in the sign up. We just prefer out Members to be aware of other Members locations. It can save time on working out delivery costs or even consideration for a pick up.

Any way, thanks for joining in. - Really appreciated! :D
