Hey all, i have a Spectrum +2 boxed and also a Spectrum +3 Boxed although the boxes are a little taty with both machines. Both machines are in fantastic working order. I believe there are a couple of games for each model but not sure what at the moment however can check in the morning and also add photos of the two machines.
Reason for getting rid of the machines is that i recieved them in a collection of commodore/atari/spectrum/sega machines and i have no idea how to use them and to be honest they don't interest me.
I'm looking for £30 each plus p&p or collection from Nottingham UK.
If interested i would accept £50 plus p&p for both.

Mike

Netomc, please update your profile with location.

The site rules are pretty simple: first comes, first served. If cfi drops the interest, then you are then next in line.

Re: Spectrum +2 and +3 Computers

Hey guys, i will find shipping costs to both Greece and Serbia when i can get to the post office tomorrow.
Cfi is first in line but if he pulls out its over to you netomc

Re: Spectrum +2 and +3 Computers

ok tell me the shipping cost do you have paypal?
thanks

Re: Spectrum +2 and +3 Computers

Hey all, apologies for the delays in replying, 4 month old daughter means limited time available for trips out to the post office.
Anyhow, based on a weight of around 10Kg the quote for shipping from Parcel2go.com are as follows:

Greece £60
Serbia £90

Both services are Via Fedex Express delivery which takes 5 days and provides tracking and cover up to £100.

If anyone has any ideas or quotes for cheaper shipping rates then please let us know.
I would imagine you would be more suited to finding one around your local area.

@ scrappysphinx

That's very expensive eh m8! - I would have thought them to be much cheaper than that tbh! :

Kin

Re: Spectrum +2 and +3 Computers

Hey kin, the only thing i had to go on was either £65.69 via parcelforce, £78.95 via dhl and £64.49 with Royal Mail and neither of those 3 provided any tracking.
If you have any suggestions mate then please let me know as i would like the spectrums to go and cfi seems very interested however i think the postage is going to be too much for him.

good luck guys :)

Re: Spectrum +2 and +3 Computers

@ SS & cfi

It's going to be Monday before I can present this for a quotation now. The despatch manager isn't available until then. It isn't a problem for me if you guys go ahead with what you already are quoted.

Sorry for the delay fella's! :|

Re: Spectrum +2 and +3 Computers

If everyone else drops out, I'll have 'em both :)

UK postage should be not too bad :D

Re: Spectrum +2 and +3 Computers

Dang it, I can't get that sexy little +2 out of my head!
I can't justify it but it fits all my criteria.

1) Retro
2) Minimalistic footprint
3) A filthy little minx.

(got any more tapes?)
