I have to concur, whatever you do for the love of God don't let that thing go to scrap.

indeed, i would love the 2 Apple IIs he has but currently money just wont allow it, Apples were the first comps i learned to use and i don't have one currently, would absolutely love to get back to using them.

I already have one nice one in my personal collection.. I have approximately 40 systems in my small home.. I have to get rid of some.

Getting rid of it's fine, just please don't scrap a piece of history like that! If you really can't find a buyer I'm sure one of us would be more than happy to pay the cost of shipping rather than let it rot in a dump.

@ AppleIIFan

I've given you AmiBayer status, so that you can now access our Recycle Bin.

Before you take them to the dump, we would rather that you offered them for the shipping costs via our Recycle Bin.

It's your call.

Just a heads up.
Something which I think I knew but forgot.
That Mac should have signatures inside the case, as the Amiga 1000 does...

I was just given a non-working Mac 512k and when I opened it up, there were the sigs, just like inside my A1000 case..

Pretty neat...
(Yes, you all probably knew that already, but I had forgotten if I knew.. ;-)
(looks like those sigs are in the compact Macs up to (but not including) the Mac Classic maybe)

I'm interested in the Mac 128 if it is still available. I can pickup since I'm from the Detroit area, and will be visiting soon. PM me if it is still available.

I hate the "this will go to the dump" posts. If you truly want it out of the house, <snip> how lame....

BritishGeek, you need to have Amibayer status to access the recycle bin.

PM one of the Mods or Admins and they can make the necessary changes for you.
