I'm looking for (original?) 40 Mb hard disk to restore my A600HD/40 to it's original form.

Please include shipping costs to Finland and I'd like to use paypal as payment method...

:-D Well, I do have another a600 with CF-HD to play with, this one is going to be restored as museum item or something...

Thanks by the way for the "Found" -prefix, I am learning to use Amibay and don't realize the rules stright away (apparently)...

The HD looks good and it's working, but it has quite loud running noise... :-O
 
No it's a Seagate. I've heard that it could be normal, it's just original Commodore experience! :-O Well, it's working, only bad thing is my girlfriend can hear the HD and notice when I'm playing with my a600hd and not doing proper work :-D
 
Yes, those 40Mb Seagate were noisy beasts, back in that era. My A600 currently have a 40Gb unit and it is silent enough (the PSU fan is louder that it).

Hmm... time to replace the PSU fan...
