I wonder if anyone can help.I'm using IRA to disassemble a program the thing is it works great with the code but It doesn't include the ASCII text in the final asm.It just prints it to the screen all be it with the correct offsets but far to many to write down .I must be doing something wrong help.

this should be programming section and I am sure the mod will move it :)(y)

Sorry just finding my way around!!!!

lol, no worries =)

have you tried resource ?

I have reposted it in the right place.

Yes I have tried resource it only loads the first node as it reports a bad hunk type, I spent about 3 days doing the code and data sections only to realize the code wasnt all there.Plus the file has a binary overlay.

hmmmm thats very interesting

unfortunatelymy fellow coding chummy, I havent used IRADissasdemler =(

well neither had I,but its a great prog as I say it will list the ASCII to the screen in pass one with all the offsets correlated to the output asm then builds the neumonics without including the strings. I've tried all command line functions .I must be missing something. There is a way to include them by stating where the text is $xxx to $xxx for each section of text even then it wont work.!!!!!!!!!!
