I'm looking for a floppy disk storage box, but in drawer style, not the common ones. I'd prefer a capacity of 100 or 200.

Thanks. :-)

Sure, thanks for correcting me. You know, I've used to post in "Amiga" section always.

I would call it a bit of re-organising rather than a correction my good friend,

Best of luck with your search

Well, I supposed to storage only Amiga disks inside there, that's why...

Take care :drinkin:

I've got one but I think postage may be a killer

I'll weigh it later and try and work out what the postage would be.

Thanks mate, I'll wait for your news.

A pic also will be nice though. :)

This is the unit I had in mind. Should hold at least 150 discs.

I've given it a dust down but I'd guess it could do with a good scrub

Naked it weighs 1.2kg I should be able to wrap it in bubble wrap and a box and hopefully keep it below 1.5kg. At which our robbing PO want 8.79 + 4.50 for airsure.

If you want it - it yours for a pint and postage.

Thanks mate for everything. Please allow me some days to consider it.

I want to be honest, so it seems a medium size to me. Maybe I want a bigger one. I have one (200 capacity I think so) and I'll post some pics tomorrow, so you can easily understand what I'm searching for.

Again, I appreciate what you did and thanks again. Just let me some days to see if I'll find something bigger. I hope that you understand. :)

Man I wanted one of these back in the day. I ended up making my own storage solution out of some timber. It wasn't very elegant but it held a lot of disks. :D

Here are some pics of my actual floppy storage box. Its capacity is about 200 disks.

The disk on the photo is for reference, to see the length of the storage box. :)

Your's does look bigger than mine - @Kin & @JuvUK watch the comments :ROTFLOL2:

I'll get my tape measure out later and check on the size and capacity.

I don't suppose the comment I made helped - apologies if I've niggled anybody - it wasn't meant that way :thumbsup2:

@Phantom

The internal depth of the drawer is 31cm and it holds approximately 190 floppies in total.

I used to have some similair to yours but they got binned in my last house move

Hi,

I have some hard plastic holders here.:)

The 1st pic one holds approx 170-200 disks $15.00 CAD
The 2nd pic one I have 3 of, holds approx 100 disks $10.00 CAD each
The 3rd pic ones, larger one holds (2) approx 40 disks, other 2 approx 20 each. $5.00 CAD each and smaller ones I'd throw in for free

Take them all for $35.00 CAD plus shipping

Shipping would probably be fairly expensive (big and bulky)

Where are you and I could get an approximate cost for shipping

Thanks for that my friend, but first the postage costs will be a killer, and secondly it's not worth the risk, it's too dangerous (from Canada to Greece it's a loooong distance)... I don't want to receive them in pieces ya know. :D

But anyway, thanks.

@Phantom

Thread reopened as per PM.

And yes I still have the original one I posted about earlier in the thread.

As per then - it's yours for postage matey if you still want it. (It could save me a refund :D )

Thanks Dave.

Actually I was thinking to wait a little though. It's better to get your ROMs back first, and if it's ok with you to post the storage box next year. I'm not in a rush for this item, and I want actually to stall buys, as I'm already waiting 8 packets right now.

Please mark this thread as 'Found' as I've already made a deal with davideo on this one.
