View Full Version : Closed CLOSED: Amiga 4000 in Micronik tower + RTG graphics card

28th March 2008, 01:44
Tower is in excellent condition, door intact, etc.
Includes A4000 revB motherboard (3.1 Roms, Buster 9, Ramsey 7), Micronik 6960 busboard (7 zorro 3 slots, 2 video slots).

Zorro boards:
GVP Spectrum 24 bit graphics card with pass-through, auto monitor switcher + pass-through lead;
GVP i/o extender;
SCSI controller.

Includes original commodore VGA adapter, mouse & A4000 keyboard.

Processor card is the A3630 68030 @ 25 MHz

16MB fast ram/2MB chip ram.

Asking 300 ono. EDIT: Now only 250

Collection would be preferred (from Sheffield, UK), but I'd be prepared to ship the tower at the buyer's cost.

The battery has been removed, minor leakage around the clock chip has been repaired. The leakage did not extend anywhere near the RAM slots.

Apologies for the crapness of my camera :-P
The scsi cables have been left out so the motherbaord etc can be viewed more easily in the pics.
The RAM shown in the pics has been replaced - for some reason I only had 8MB in at the time I took the pics. In changing it I noticed (and could barely believe it) that all four RAM slots have their clips completely intact - almost unheard of!

I've also found the original manuals and install disks for the GVP graphics card, and the Micronik tower manual - not sure if this is original or not, as it's just printed on A4 paper and stapled to form a booklet.

The last picture shows (or tries to show, my crap camera!) a couple of wear marks on the tower case side - the paint has rubbed off in a couple of places, not even the size of a fingerprint, but wanted to be thorough in my description.

EDIT: Pics now added below (Zetro, enjoy your hardware pron ;-) ):

Pics will be up tomorrow - my camera batteries are on charge. Same for the CVPPC.

Aside from the obvious (area around battery) - any requests for specific pictures?

@Zetro - my late night shenanigans backfired on me - I slept in this morning, missed my train, and was 1.75 hours late for work :-(

Bu88er - just can't burn the candle at both ends any more, old age (and baldness) catching up on me.

Pics are too big.

Sorry for the large pics, have reduced them in size and re-linked. Hope these are OK. If not, just remove the image tags again.

Sorry about that - the moral of the story is preview before you post!

I have to say, that is an absolutely GORGEOUS Amiga... it looks in fantastic condition.

you have my envy... and if i mugg enough people you may have a wallet or two :D

I'm dropping the price - only £250 for a (hopefully) quick sale.

Where else will you get a towerised A4000 with RTG graphics card for that price?

2nd April 2008, 00:30
The A4000 is no longer for sale, I've agreed to trade the tower for some parts.

Please close the thread.

Thanks Amibay
