Im looking for the above, either 256mb or 512mb. Wanting a single 256 at least to take my old lappy to 512mb or a pair of 512mb's if the price is right. For a Dell Inspiron 2200.

Hi Dan

If nobody has any for you then this memory is still available off the shelf.

Standard Memory : 256MB (Non-Removable)
Maximum Memory : 1.25GB
Total Memory Slots : 1
Memory Type : 200-Pin PC2700 (333Mhz) DDR SODIMM

have a look at ocralogic.co.uk and use their memory finder (if using IE8 use compatability view) ;)

I could link you to the site, but a mod would be on me in a second. I got mine off FleaBay

I have some laptop memory at home that isn't much use, as I don't have my lappy any more; let me check and see what I have and I'll post later tonight.

Edit: I have found 2 x 512Mb Adata DDR333 (2.5) sticks of laptop memory - these should take your laptop to 1Gb of RAM. Part numbers marked on the sticks are AD1333512MMS (HYPDB190805Z) and MDOHY4G3H3420B1E5Z. I've put these here so you can check the compatibility, as laptop memory is notoriously finicky.

Are these of any interest to you, at 20 + postage?

Cheers Merlin,

Think they are the ones, Ive just had it apart to upgrade the CPU and fix the power socket and notice its only got one (empty) slot. So it must have 256Mb soldered in.

Dont suppose you would want to sell just the one?

@danhans115 - I could be wrong but on most of those models the other slot is on the other side of the board meaning that normally you have to rip the machine apart to get to it. IBM started doing this with the R and T series, Dell with the inspirons... Might be worth checking just in case it is there, i guess a google search for a service manual would confirm but i thought i`d say anyway just in case :)
