Hi All

I have a SAM440 Flex and I would like to know what certain headers do as the manual does not reference them!

Manual:
http://www.acube-systems.biz/download/flex_manual_0.2.pdf

Headers I would like to know about:

J3
J6 (looks like J6, its a bit small to read)

Im hoping I can connect a fan to either of these.

Also, can I connect the audio headers at J12 to my front audio wires in the case? Im guessing I cant just plug them in

And finally, what does the circled block of switches do?

I have attached a picture so everyone knows what bits Im talking about :)

Many thanks,
Taj

J12 is for future use, it was supposed that an I/O expansion board would be released, but no recent news. Check this -> ONE <-.

Check the schematics -> HERE <-.

Hope that helps.

Oh thats a shame :(

I hope they dont stop development on these, theyre damned expensive machines.

Do you know if I can connect a case fan at J3 & J6?

You can check -> THAT <- also. It's for altering CPU and FSB clock settings.

I really don't have a clue about the dip switches over there, possibly for overclocking-business (by hardware)?

Pin headers J3 and J6 among others too, were being cut-off in newer revisions of the motherboard. Probably yours is a first batch?

Either way, Acube stated that these pins or headers aren't supposed to be used by the end-user.
