Doh, nevermind I was looking for a sonet upgrade for my lc575 which is completely different model - sorry:Doh:

Well, if your Mac can take a 5400 motherboard I could throw that in as well. The 5400 board will take this G3 and some of the pre-ppc macs had the same motherboard footprint so the later ones like 5400 or 5500 could be swapped in as an upgrade. I'm not sure which though.

I also have 2 64mb 168-pin edo 5v dimms, ie 128mb for the 5400 board, for another £10.

Well that would be so good however the LC575 (a.k.a Peforma 250) board is already in an upgraded system which was a Color Classic. So I doubt the 5400 board would be compatible with that.

The only accelerators known for this (according to lowend mac) is the Sonnet Presto PPC 605, and the DayStar PowerCard 601 both of which uses the PDS slot.

price crash!

edit - now listed on ebay

another edit - got a bid on ebay so leaving it to run there now.
