Found 1772 WDC Floppy Controller

Hello Chummies

I'm reparing an Acorn BBC Master Compact for one of our members and need to replace the controller chip, WDC 1772.

Willing to accept faulty or scrap Master motherboards to pinch the chip from.

Are you proposing someone sends me a knackered ST, I rob the chip and then video it being burned on a ritualistic styled funeral pyre.

You could contact "Retroclinic" on ebay. He seems to have a supply of the chips.

Stop picking on the ST

, TC doesn’t have to disembowel a working ST I've got spare WDC 1772 I'll send him, if he wants it.

Dont happen to have a spare cpc 464 / 664 keyboard hanging about while you are digging about in the loft
