Hi guy and gals,
whilst recently cleaning out my mum's loft I discovered my old collection of Amiga magazines and floppy discs.

They are mainly Amiga Format but also the subscriber magazine and some Amiga User International.
(See attached).

I'm not looking for any money for these but if anyone wants them pleased let me know.
We can either work out postage of if you are in the North of England I'm sure we can arrange somewhere to meet. I'm based near Bradford.

Otherwise they will all go to the great recycling bin in the sky :(

Please post or PM me to sort out the details.

Thanks

Re: Give Away - magazines and discs

Unfortunately, shipping would be too much for me. Hopefully someone will take these off your hands. :)

Re: Give Away - magazines and discs

May I have a pic of the Amiga Format CD32 Supplement? I don't know if I have it already.

Re: Give Away - magazines and discs

How much would postage be for the copies of Amiga User International?
Thanks. :D

Re: Give Away - magazines and discs

Sure, pic attached.

Not sure which one you are interested in so the pic has both.
Both are by Future Publishing.

The one on the left is 19 pages long whereas the one on the right is more of a full magazine and is 90 pages long.

Well I'm hoping to get rid of them all together... but if I did split the 6 Amiga User Internationals and their disks would probably cost about £5 for postage and packing.

daunorubicin, if you were to use parcel2go courier for delivery you could probably send the whole lot for £8 anywhere in the UK.

Re: Give Away - magazines and discs

I might well be interested in the floppy disks. There were often many exciting things on those cover disks. How many are there, and how much would it be to post to Southampton?

Never heard of that site, thanks for pointing it out.

The cheapest looks to be £13.21 with the Home Delivery Network.

I guess if anyone wants to pay that they can have the whole lot!

Hi AndyLandy, there are 94 disks in total. I haven't checked any of them unfortunately as my Amiga is well packed away in the loft.

The lot with a suitable box weighs 2Kg so

ParcelForce is £10.50
Royal Mail (if I can get it exactly 2Kg) £4.41 if not £7.06
Parcel2go reckons DHL could do it for £4.59

Still interetested?

Alternatively I will be in Southampton in March next year :thumbsup2:

To be honest, those prices aren't too bad. I'd be happy to go with whatever's easiest for you. Royal Fail is a trip to the post office, p2g will probably require you (or someone) to be in all day to await the collection. It makes little odds to me. :)
