View Full Version : Found 2x 1GB or 2x 512MB PC2700 DDR RAM (SODIMM) for laptop.

After the above to max the RAM for my newly acquired (slightly old) IBM ThinkPad.

So that's 2x PC2700 DDR SODIMMs at 333Mhz.

Just adding I would also consider 512MB modules.

I have 2x 1GB sticks of PC3200, they should downspeed ok (They were in a laptop that only was supposed to take PC2100)

Thanks guys for all the responces i'l eagerly await what UberFreak has available and go from there if that's ok with you chaps? :)

DDR400 SODIMM's sometimes work in 333Mhz machines but sometimes the whole machine can be bottlenecked to an even lower rating when these are installed but it may be worth a shot.

The other Bay has lots of 2x 500 (1GB) buy it now memory at reasonable prices, may be worth a look.

Thanks guys ok il speakto BinoX first as it might be worth a shot if my laptop can support faster modules if it means I can max out the RAM (and if I can afford!). If it doesnt work out i'l certainly contact you Andy. :)

Thanks to eveyone else, not ruling out you other guys yet as anything can happen!
