Hi all.

Does anyone have for sale a working tape drive for the Atari 8-bit? Mine's just given up the ghost and have a mountain of tapes that i want to go through

Not sure, if there is no specific control, you can use any tape drive. You talking about regular cassette tapes, right?
 
No. The Ataris' used their own tape drives as the computer controlled it. Unfortunately its not as easy as just buying a generic player. If only.....
