Hi,

Is there anyone close to me here in Lincolnshire UK who would be able to add the relevant 16 bit slot extensions to give me 4x 16 bit slots to use with my bridgeboard?

I had the same thing done with another A2000 back in 1986 by a chap in Leigh Lancs when I lived near there, but he is now retired.

My mobo is Rev 6.2...classed as an A1500 on the case.

Hopefully somebody quite close would be ideal.

Let me know how much, via PM if you like.

At the same time, I have an old trusty Palm M100 which has a failed backup battery cap, so when I change the batteries I lose data...could that be a possible fix too? I know it's old and mostly redundant, but I use it to un-regionalise DVD recorders and as a standby IR remote for various things that I own.

Regards and thanks

I did that myself about 20' years back and it was easy. The AT slots might be hard to come by, but you place them in their holes, heat up a bit of solder and let it flow in. No worries!

I mean it is easy to do yourself; I only burn my furniture for my own projects
