I've got a FastATA 4000 card that has become faulty causing a yellow screen on boot, have found what looks like a damaged trace and looking for someone able to carry out a repair.

Looks suspiciously like a factory cut trace to me.

I've looked at the picture of another FastATA 4000 on BBAH and the trace on that particular card isn't cut. I removed this working from my A4000T a few weeks ago,
it was stored loosely with some other stuff intended for my A3000 project which is how I think this possibly happened.

i have to agree it looks to clean to be damage. but i have no experience with this card or variants of it. it just looks way to clean, and no signs of any damage around it or under the cut either...

But stranger things have happened at sea i guess.

your right its yellow-i examine the card properly over the weekend.
