single fan 500 watt ATX power supplies with the original loom removed and an Amiga 5 pin cable attached. (a500/a600/a1200)

20amp 12v rail

Fully tested on my Amiga a1200 68060 75mhz.

As we know the Amiga PSU isn't man enough for anything except basic acceleration, the 040 / 060 / RTG / PCI based amiga needs extra power...

These are new atx supplies 240v with an on / off switch.

£25 + P&P (UK £5.30)

£3 extra i can fit a CD32 / c64 1581 fitting on it.

If you can supply your own Amiga cable I can reduce the price by £3

Hi, how long are the cables from the PSU to the miggy as this is an issue I am having with the Goliath PSU.

Cheers,
C.

I only have original a1200 ones or goliaths, could anyone let me know how long a normal a500 one is? :D

I'm winding this little project up - i may still do them by request from time to time but its a pain to be honest and I see AmigaKit do them :)

I might have a spare psu or 2 that I can donate. I`ve kept some old atx ones that have the -12v on. Which makes modding them for an A500, A600 and A1200 a case of desoldering and resoldering the amiga square power plug

Thanks cosmic , people seem to find there own solutions to psu needs and that's fine. Saves me a job :) I'm busy enough.

If people are desperate I'll make one up.

Thanks
:)
