Hi,

Second card up for sale is my Apollo 1240 at 40MHz. It's genuine 1240/40 not over clocked. All stickers on place. It is tower version with two simm sockets. I'm giving two 32MB simm for it which gives total 64MB FastRam and genuine box for card.

At the moment I don't have any pictures, but I'll do during weekend, if somebody will be interested.

Card is in perfect working order, but be advise that I don't accept returns. You are welcome to come my place and test card, or I can do so many pictures and films as needed. It is sensitive hardware.

Asking price is 250euro + 30euro shipping (insured).

Apollo 1240/40 is about three times faster in CPU operations and almost seven times faster in FPU than Blizzard 1230 50MHz with MC68882 FPU. Perfect card for demos!

Mach version is 130.

Apollo and Blizzard card are separated threads, on this thread I'm selling Apollo 1240/40 with ram. If you think of splitting card and ram it's no problem for me, but it's good to buy it in bundle with tested simms like mine.
Locally I have second offer, but you are first inline, so if you want this card, can be yours :-)

Radu14m (http://www.amibay.com/member.php?u=7299) remove his interest, card is still available, but there is one person outside AmiBay inline.

I confirm the above thru countless speedtests performed over the decades during my job as an Amiga gamecoder.

Furthermore I have found the Apollo1240 cards to have the absolute best chipram access speeds of any accellerator cards I ever tested!

So while an 040 is not as fast as an 060 at processing instructions or doing math, the Apollo 1240 cards make up for it by giving more bandwidth to chipram.

I cannot vouch for FLOPS specific card since I have not tested it but if he was to post bustest results for 640x512x256 PAL INTERLACED mode I think you would be very surprised by how high the numbers are compared to any 060 card.

That's true, Apollo have the best timings for mother board, so chip is working really fast. Card is already packed, so I can't do more tests.
Thank you for tip
Card sent to Buster11.
