Just a quick one.
I wanted to be able to access all my stored files on my PC with My Sam440 so I did some reading not that it helped it just confused me and did not work.
So this is what I did
1. Downloaded Filezilla server for windows read the crap FAQ only useful bit was telling me to setup a port on my Virgin Hub to allow my Sam to access the FTP server I did this on 2 ports.
2. Next I installed Filezilla and only setting I changed were the ports to the ones I had setup on my hub.
3. Setup a users account on Filezilla with password
4. setup Peters FTP on my Sam440 and then put in my IP address of my PC and the port number, also put in the details of the user account and the password.
Now I have a fully working FTP for my Windows 7 machine and my Sam440 Horraaar
Hope this helps! I am a PC tech and I had real problems trying to get past the egos of some of the guys writing these guides who cares about the history or the tech info just Keep it simple stupid LOL
