Hi all,

I've just installed my Kickstart switcher in my A500+ and it has 1.3 and 2.04 ROMs
I have a GVP HD8+ hard drive with a 120MB SCSI drive in it and 4MB RAM, the machine has 2MB CHIP RAM so that's a total of 6MB RAM :)

Anyway, I've set her up to load Workbench 1.3 ( on partition DH0: ) when KS 1.3 is booted and Workbench 2.1 ( on partition DH1: ) when KS 2.04 is booted. Finally, I have a Data partition ( on partition DH2: )

Under Kickstart 2.04, there is no problems whatsoever, but under Kickstart 1.3, the Data partition is causing problems.
I've tried reformatting it from Kickstart/Workbench 1.3 and from Kickstart/Workbench 2.04/2.1

I always get the following errors in Kickstart 1.3:

Any ideas?

Oh, btw, I once tried having a hard drive in Kickstart 1.3 on WinUAE and came across the same hassles, so it's not just my hard drives.

FYI: All partitions are OFS. 2x 20MB partitions and the Data partition is 80MB

Cheers

1.3 supports FFS, so there's no need to use OFS.

When I read the post, I had the same feeling that OFS was the problem.

@woody, try it with FFS from the WB1.3 Floppy.
