Yes it is... Kindof.

I gave up on Miami and use Genesis. It is FAR FAR quicker. On my home network MiamiDX give about 630KB/s, where as Genesis turns in a healthy 850KB/s...

I don't think that MiamiDX is free. You need 2 keys to install to register it.

Will Genesis run on a system that has 2mb of ram? (ie: stock A1200)

Yes, it will.

But you need to disable all bells and whistles from the system (no backdrop image, no replacement icons) but Genesis (for Workbench 3.0/3.1 - version for OS3.9 will not run) and MUI.

Without MUI 3.8 Genesis will not run.

BTW: then for what reason you need network?:???:

MUI + Genesis will eat at least ~600kb. No browser will run with just 1Mb. Only for basic FTP & Amiga Explorer the network will run.:|
