well found another pc floppy drive sitting in a p166 k3 acer system. So the model number is a bit higher than this first post:

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=30944

the board is simalar, know were pin 2 is and found the dc pin on the board to, but to be honest I cannot figure out how to select ds0, it looks like the smd component should go down one connection near (26) but is wired togeter for know. It would be great if anybody knows how to make it unit 0 for the amiga, the dc to pin2 is not a problem.

The cable just adds to the confusion, together with the fact that the board was glued hard on the flop connector,(to the main unit) so lost about 1 hour to get the board  It just needs a sharp paper cutter inbetween the flop connector and main assambly:bowdown: I just removed the motor, think it can be just refitted?

It is indeed difficult to help me with this, but I have good news, had 7 (new old stock drives delivered)

SONY MPF920 and I found a good guide at

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=43265

First test in workbench looks ok, will test further.

The HD switch is bridged so it takes HD as DD.

I did not need to hotglue it, since the drive has protection cover, but wanted to make sure, since the used cable is very thin, but the cable could be pulled, but since amiga is a time machine, I do not know if the solder is good to last 10 years..

Only 6 more to do (n)
