As per title, I willing to complete my collection of C= computers, so it's about time to have a C16.

Nothing fancy, please. It can even be in a non-working condition, but the case and keyboard must look complete.

The cheaper, the merrier!:D

Oh, I don't mind one or two joystick adapters, either!(y)

I noticed the PLA chip is near the same as the C64 and can be replaced by an especially programmed EPROM 27C512 chip.

The TED might be a bit problematic to source.

But that's in the thread scope, so I'm interested.

Pictures, please?

Too bad you already sent the other package, as this could go alongside...

Will PM you right now.

Are you still looking?
I have one here that's surplus to requirements since I got my Plus/4, the only downside is that one of the keys broke off the keyboard, but otherwise it is working good.

Will wait a bit, spent too much this month.

Will ask about one of those puppies another time.

@Firthy: it is otherwise complete/working?

Marco (aka Exilent) gave me his 16, which does not have Ted nor PLA, so I'll take your 16, too, Firthy.

From the two I'll make one.

First thing is to put ventilation and heatsinks over Ted and CPU. Then mix the boards and cases.

Here it is, the long awaited pics update!

Bought in a joblot of C= stuff off the other bay with a VIC-20, C64C and 2 breadbin C64s (and a crapload of datasettes and other junk!), listed as not working/untested.

As you can see, the 0 key has broken off but otherwise the system seems to be working perfectly.
I don't have any disk software for the C16/Plus4 so wasn't able to test the IEC port.
I also forgot to test the cartridge port with my only cartridge game. :picard

I've not stripped it down or opened the cover or anything since I got it.

I can include the datasette and PSU pictured. However the PSU did give off quite a hum after a while so would need to be serviced in the very near future!
I'd prefer to hang on to my copy of UXB if you don't mind!

Oh, the problem is just a broken actuator? That can be fixed using one from any other Vic20/64/128 dead keyboard.

The main problem is that is very hard to break a 64 keyboard!

Interested on it, no need for another 1531. If you have one joystick adapter that's another thing I must have. Joysticks for this machine are a bit hard to come by.

No need for the power supply, either. Just a close picture of the male power supply pin and the dimensions of it to catch a replacement.

I do have a known bad C64 breadbin keyboard that I could use as a donor but it just seems like a lot of effort for a machine I don't want anyway.

Unfortunately I don't have a spare joystick adapter, just the one that came with my Plus/4 and I don't want to get rid of that.
I do have a 1 button Commodore joystick though if you're interested?

PSU is a regular barrel tip, will get you a picture.

Update: the first half of my project arrived.

Feedback en route to Exilent.

Not in a hurry, mate.

I'm totally broken because a family problem.

After I can pay for the unit I'll let you know. Please just PM me the price and postage cost.

Time to update this thread. Prepared to pay for Firthy C16. With the CBM stick if you don't mind. :)

Completely forgot about this, will get you shipping estimate on Thursday.
