dont these just take the normal drive thats inside the 1200? and just add a longer floppy cable.

if youve got a picture of the front of the tower case that would be nice.

Hi Roy,

They should do I think. Will post a picture in a wee while. Just back to the Amiga after a long time and I've been sourcing all the bits to make a tower. Need to also find out what ribbon cables I need to buy for the cd rom drive and floppy to attach to the motherboard.

the ribbon for the floppy is a 34 pin idc cable with no twists.(you can actually make them there dead easy)

the cd rom cable is a ide(if your using ide) 40 pin idc cable with three connectors on(you can also make these also dead easy)

if its the tower i think it is(thats just got a slot for the drive with a cutout to put the floppy disk through) you can use any amiga floppy drive in it.
thats drives for 600,1200,even the 500 and probably the others too.:)

That's great, thanks for the info! The tower does have a the slot for the floppy and button so you'll be right there. The cd rom is an IDE one too. Thanks very much for the info :) (y)
