Hey guys,
I'm looking for a replacement floppy drive for my Atari 1040STE. I know you can hack various standard PC drives like you can with the Amiga, but I'm looking for an original as a drop-in replacement.
Mine is an Epson SMD-380. It's casing/fascia is damaged but the mechanism works fine. If you have a dead Epson the same, but in good cosmetic condition, I'd be happy to re-house mine with the parts.
Otherwise any original Atari drive will do, just double-density, nothing fancy.
Many thanks!
