View Full Version : Closed WANTED Looking for something flexible to longer left A500 slot

4th March 2010, 10:50

I am going to towerise my A500, since my A4000 can't accomodate the needed parts. (extra floppy drives)

Also the side expansions make it to long, and I can't close my A500 with a pc floppy in in a working way.

I am looking for any solution that takes the A500 slot and give it 10 cm to move away my expansions what I wan't:

+exp nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn+ 50 pins scsi disk + cdrom
+here nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn+ 5,25 floppy + 3,25 (catweasel)
+ nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn+ 3,25 to amiga
+flex cable A500 here +

50 pins scsi cable (long type)
Long floppy cable
"FLEX" left A500 solution
mouse & joy longering stuff
clock port adapter (going for it at vesalia)

Not needed:
ex Floppy connector
graphic connector
printer port (If I wan't it have a nice cable)
power cable

If I take an old ISA bus board, the expansions would be floating over the A500 board, not exactly.. So maybe somebody has a flex ISA longering thing that can be modded?

If nothing turns up, will trie a flame thrower at an old isa bus and solder it..

Already have one connector hacked from an isa bus connector to get the expansions in another angle.;) Looking against the solder job.:( My flame throwing party wen't ok.. Lot's of parts even the memory slots of the A4000 type delivered..

Long floppy cable (1 meter)

mouse & joy longering stuff (DB9)

clock port adapter (going for it at vesalia) (Still not bought it, if anyone has it and not using it ?)
