Hi guys, I'm looking to connect an A1200 to a LG led tv (model 7600)

The TV has an "RGB IN (PC)" connector on it which is a 15 pin d sub. (The tv doesn't have scart)

I'm wonder if I buy an adapter like this one,

"Amiga RGB to VGA Monitor Adapter"

http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=42&products_id=183

Is this going to work properly for games and the like or is is not going to work in some modes?

Wont work you need a `Scandoubler` because the amiga outputs the signal At 15.5 khz your LCD TV will be 60 Khz or more as a guess

Have you got a component connection on the TV? if yes you could use that , picture wont be brill but will be passable

Because the Amiga 1200 (and 600) has inbuilt composite, they also have the required IC to get an SVideo output...

If you're confident enough with a soldering iron, the cost of parts to add an svideo socket is about $5...

Of course, this is assuming your tv has an svideo socket ;)
