Closed miggy floppy drives for 600/1200

Maybe you put the same rottern floppy in both drives, are they dead as in no power at all or just read errors? If its the latter did you try to clean the heads.

both internal neither will read they are knackered they power up but they aint no good
and no i didn't put one disk in 2 machines
My long suffering buddy Zetr0 managed to get one going for all of ten minutes but then it went again so beleive me when i say they don't work

luckily i am now using a hard drive but i still need to get them sorted with replacements
 
What drives did they use in the A600/A1200? Is it the same FB-354s as in the A500? If so, I might be able to help you in a few days.

IIRC the drive from an A500 is too big to fit in the A600/A1200 case.
