Is it really upgradeable to 20 mb? Have you tested it?
As far as I know, only the 50 MHz Version is upgradeable to 20 mb and even you use the 68030-RAM32 on a slower board version, you can only use 1 mb simms.

Hello,

this is only the information from amiga-ressource.
I don't have so much GVP-simms. ;)

I think, it's not the turbo board, that limitate the memory space, it should be the memory board. The 50MHz version should be the same as the lower ones, but in generally was it usual delivered with this 68030-RAM32 and the other versions usually with the 68030-RAM8?
On 68030-RAM32 you should can do install am mix of 1MB (top 4 slots) and 4MB (lower 4 Slots) modules.
But I can't test it. :(

I have here a 4MB simm, but I have to repair it first, this is defective... :(
I'll try to repair it for a test...

Ah, I see, what you does mean on the describing on amiga-ressource.
Ok, so should be 8MB the limit...

Maybe a PAL/GAL on the original 50 MHz boards is a bit different, but I don't know, too!

I have only the 33 MHz fully populated with 8 MB RAM and the board is quite fast!

I have 50Mhz version with 16Mb. It's really fast and very stable. A good card.
Only add a controller like an Oktagon2008 and your A2000 will be a rock solid system.

Nice config with 50MHz! ;)
Yes, the onBoard controller is a bit outdated and to install any other controler is a good idea.
