The UK has frankly, terrible weather which is doing my nut in!

Over the summer months we may get a good blasting of sun/uv rays and I can faff about getting some small bits done, casings etc. But I never really get a good job done. Having to keep moving things as the sun travels during the day.

So

I am really thinking about buying a big black lamp strip light or something!

Is there any precautions to think about? I am thinking a cupboard would be a good place to put this aswell. So I can then set a part up and just leave it for say 36 hours wrapped in cling film or something. It will mean people cannot mess with it and it will be out of the way.

Anybody done this?

I used a standard bulb in my bathroom (in the bath) under a spotlight. Worked fine for me
