Hi all,

I have an Amstrad CPC464 keyboard and tape unit and games for sale. Untested as I don't have the rest of it, but it worked fine 6 years or so back when it was last used.

Comes with some boxed games. 30 inc postage for mainland UK.

Just a random question here, does the cassette drive spin when you press play or does it wait until you press "Enter"?

Press CTRL and small enter key to get the "Press PLAY then any key" message, then press play, but the motor doesn't start turning until you've pressed "the any key" :)

If he doesn't have the monitor or a suitable PSU he might find this difficult

Very sorry I've just realised it's the earlier revision (without the stripe behind the Amstrad logo.) While this makes it a more attractive machine for many buyers (full size motherboard / taller keys) I'm actually looking for the later version "cost-down", so I will have to pass.

For this price though, it's a great deal and I am sure it'll go quick as it looks good on the pics and they tend to be v.reliable!

Possible interest. Any Idea how much extra postage to Ireland would be?

Sorry for the delay, I didnt get a notification.

From what i can figure, postage to ireland for this would be 17.48 (parcelforce) and I'd priced it based on myhermes at 5.28 so it'd be 12 extra :/

Is this still available? Not trying to jump the queue but if no one else wants it I'll take it for the 20 posted mentioned earlier in the thread.
