Hi

i have a problem with my ESCOM Amiga 4000T.

When boots in cold, sometimes occurs a guru and later boot very well.

i don´t understand. is a problem motherboard?

thanks

What is the Guru code number?

What is your A4KT's hardware config made up of? (CPU card, graphics card etc)

What OS are you running?

What programs do you have in your Workbench Startup drawer?

What commands are you running in your User-Startup script?

Is the Startup-sequnce modified in any manner?

Kin

Old capacitors for sure...

I have new for sale : 6 € with shipping in Priority !

There are differences in the WB installed on 4000T and 4000D, could be that a library is missing the first time it boots, but perhaps is found the second time around because it's loaded from a ROM update? I have no experience with 4000Ts so it could also be what cosmos points to.

So fill out the details Kin is asking, it'll help out debugging.

i have a Escom AT Amiga 4000 040/25 - 16MB RAM - ROM 3.1 - XSURF CARD. All running about Amiga OS 3.1

at this moment my wbstartup drawer have Tools Daemon, Tool Manager and VirusZ inside

Watch the pins of the CMS caps : if not bright = leaking = guru...
