after some serious consideration I decided to split up my 4000 setup, as it is not put to much use these days. So here goes the most sought out item, CyberStorm PPC for Amiga 4000/3000. PPC is clocked at 200MHz and 060 clocked at 50 Mz. It has the good rev 68060 (71E4J, rev 6). It has not been overclocked or tampered with in any way. It has 128 mb RAM installed. No issues, no problems. Check some pics from the running setup here (http://picasaweb.google.com/coze.00/CyberStormPPC#).

Asking price is 1000$ (USD), including EMS shipment (fully secure, tracked, insured shipment). Payments by paypal.

When declaring interest, please keep in mind that I will be expecting payment in one week. If you need more time please let me know.

Special offer : Buy my CyberStormPPC (http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?t=7078) and CyberVisionPPC (http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?p=75184#post75184) together and get OS 4.0 (http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?p=75194#post75194) for free ! This offer is valid only if all three items are still available. If one of them sells seperately, this offer is not valid.

well, in case some people are wondering, I'm not making any profit on this board at all. I bought this board from Shillard three years ago (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=29736), for exactly the same price.

(payment made in two parts) actually I'm in a loss cause I'm paying for the shipment, and I replaced the 68060 and RAM. FYI.

^^^^^^

But $1000 US = 676.543 and....

$1000 Aus = 584.530

....which is a bit of a difference.... meaning keropi is right.

that's quite a feat of maths for you kin, alas I made the payment to shillard in USD, so it really doesn't mean anything in this case ...

Not really & not in the slightest coze. It is now three years on.

Best of luck with the sale.

As ever, "An item is worth what a buyer is willing to pay and a seller is willing to sell at" -- This is the Prime Directive and the source of all the price-driving rules around here. It's your item, you can ask whatever you think is a fair price. If the members agree, they'll buy it! ;-)

Bah, time to get raped by customs again ^^
It's been sitting there for almost a week, I know where that's gonna end :D

time to take out the Vaseline/jelly, rub it in and take it like a man :ninja:

Oh yeah, if it's not marked as gift, like mine was from Tom, then pay up.
The A3640 card was marked 'used computer parts' and even then, 33 euro's added! :censored:

Gift doesn't matter. If they open it, you're screwed.

I bought a game in Australia (not rare, not extremely special) for 5 dollar's 3 months ago, when it arrived i had to pay 50 euro's on taxes ><

In the past you could use gift, or 'return after repair' but that stuff really doesn't work anymore ^^

Only thing that works sometimes is including the paypal receipt so they know what you paid for it (but that's only when something is really worth next to nothing)

Yeah, that's why I split payment always. If I buy something from the US for example for the price of 500 I always pay the price for the item and the shipping costs separately. Customs charge at least on the paid costs for shipping (!), but that way it's easy to avoid horrible customs, as long as the package is declared as gift.

I had a case for the insurance in the past. I've bought an A4000D in great shape, and the item arrived totally broken as the couriers seemed to have played football with it. The insurance said, that the real value of the item isn't more than 50, and I've paid 500 for it. As long as you have problems with an old Computer which is broken during the transport noone cares what you've paid. They only pay the value what the item has (in their opinion).
