what game or games are they? what roms do you mean.

some games require an older kickstart from an older machine.

try a disk called relokick on the machine first then try the disk you want to use and see how you get on.

im guessing this may help you.

Yes, you have a motherboard from Escom which doesn't pass the READY signal through to the floppy header.
The READY signal is not used at all under Amiga OS, but it is used in a lot of NDOS games/demos, hence the problems you have.
The good news is that the READY signal was only disconnected on the internal connector. It was correctly passed through to the external floppy connector.

So, to fix things back to Amiga standards:
1. If there is a wire between pin #2 and pin #34 on the internal connector as seen in this photo (http://amiga.resource.cx/photos/photo2.pl?id=a1200&pg=4&res=hi&lang=en), remove it.
2. Solder a wire between pin #34 of the internal and pin #1 on the external floppy connector, as seen in this photo. (http://www.amibay.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=21880&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1397490705)
