Closed Amiga 600 hd Kickstart 3.1 WITH Amiga 2000 Kickstart 3.1

Hello like the title says, i would swap MY Kickstart 40.63 Ver 3.1 for AMIGA 600HD

with

The same Kickstart 40.63 Ver 3.1 BUT for Amiga 2000

no pictures since it's a mere chip, but if you really need it i can post one, just let me know

The Kickstart 40.63 is for the Amiga 500, 600 and 2000 the same version.

You don't have to swap it.

hello, are you sure? Amigakit have 2 different pages one for A2000 (and other models like A1500 & B2000) with option for selecting Kick3.1 for A500/A500+

and another page with Kickstart for A600

My kickstart have a label with printed "Amiga 600 HD" over it, here a picture

I have always used the same roms for all three without problems. Also, usually the roms I get are marked "Kickstart 3.1 A500/A600/A2000".

I think you will find the only difference is that an early version of the 3.1 rom for the A500 and A2000 did not have the pcmcia driver code in them and so could be used on an A600, but the pcmcia port would not work, however since the A600 rom has all hardware support, everyone started simply offering this rom as solution to all three machines.

However, it's been a LONG time so I could be wrong.

Oh, and your A600 3.1 rom will DEFINITELY 100% work perfectly in an A2000 <--- this I can guarantee you.
