Hi! I'm depressed. My 1200 has died today !!:crying:

It happens : I turn on the Amiga and the POWER light turns on but there is no video signal output by composite video. After a while, the floppy light goes on and so continues. It does not change anything if I insert a diskette.

Any idea?

Thanks in advanced

The video composite and RF outputs are gone. I haven't got the apropiate cable for testing RGB output. The power pack I think it's ok,
Capacitors I'm sorry .. I haven't got any idea the electronics

No boot menu, because there is missing the video signal

Yes nothing. The floppy led is on, but it doesn't do anything

No blank/white/... screen: video signal is missing

Anyway.. Yesterday I, unplugged all cords and today I've reconnected the cables and the computer resurrected, but it's not working properly . The quality of video is very bad for RF and for video composite output, well, I took some pictures:

And a video:

There are a lot of interference on the right side of the floppy disk image:(

I would guess that its the caps from the symptoms you are describing. A good quality photo of the motherboard would help. If the caps are leaking is best to sort as soon as, left untreated it can do serious damage.

I've seen similar errors before with leaking caps.

Definitely a capacitor problem. If you can't find someone local, you can send it to me in Germany.
