I am looking for a (working) Amiga 1000 keyboard.

** I ended up purchasing an Amiga 2000 keyboard, a 5 pin Female DIN plug and a handset phone cord (RJ22). After a bit of soldering, I have a usable alternative without having to alter the keyboard cord itself. These 1000 keyboards seem to be very hard to come by.

I understand that acquiring an actual A1000 keyboard would be the best solution. Personally i find it rather sexy. :D But, for the good of all A1000 owners around, could you please give us some details on the rewiring you have acomplished, or perhaps a link to a site which might already have all the details? Thanks! (y)

Yes great idea!

I saw many A1000 keyboards very yellow. For a high price.
And than i saw some brand new A1000 keyboards and the price was much much higher! 3-4 times :wooha:

In the last time no one sell a keyboard for A1000

A1000 keyboards are a bit more rare than A1000 computers actually!
Weird, but that's due to momma Commodore's upgrade program where A1000 owners were required to return only their keyboard in order to get a discount for the A2000...
