Howdy all,

Lack of real estate and funds have finally driven me to the decision of brutally trimming down my collection of old computers and keep the focus on consoles and handhelds only. Over the coming weeks, i'll list most of my digital children here. These have all been part of my collection for the past 2 to 3 years, and have always been stored well (dry, warm, wrapped, neatly tied cables, etcetera). I've only been collecting working specimens, and have tested them before they went into storage. Before shipping, i will of course confirm that they still work. I'll test the AV out and keyboard, if buyer wants me to test any further, i'm open for suggestions. Lack software and peripherals for many systems though.

On to the main course, today's offer is a Commodore PET 3032. It is working fine, and in good cosmetic shape (some stains and marks on the edges of the metal housing though). Screen and keyboard both working fine.

Note that i will not use DHL to send goods. Had too many issues with them.

Finally, for sake of clarity, one can assume this item is listed elsewhere, or will be shortly.

Great Machine!

Some power on pictures? Can you add also a mainboard photo please?

I could be interested...

Thanks for pictures... before write "interested" i want to be sure I have budget...
You can help me to write the shipping cost to Italy

Shipping to Italy will be 36 euro with tracking and signed delivery. That's for max 20 kilo.
If it goes over 20 kilos, you're looking at 46 euro postage.

Right... and for the first price drop :D (i'm joking, you know i'm interested but i have limited budget, but this is my problem, no comment for prices ;) )

*trying to resist because it's heavy and across the pond.. and would need a step up transformer....*

okay, resistance is futile. :p

declaring interest, PM sent.

Package received! Unfortunately, it looks like it got damaged in transit. :(

The side must have been jolted or something, and the fuse is missing. Since the box was damaged, maybe the fuse fell out but ill try to dig through all of the peanuts. I don't see the receptacle for the fuse through the hole in the back, I really hope the motherboard didn't get damaged.

I found the fuse holder and spring in the box, sadly it broke into pieces. Is this a standard part that I can just screw in, or was it part of the housing or something?

Edit: it looks like the fuse holder would screw into some receptacle on the back, which is also missing/broke off.. Is this repairable? :/

To keep the thread updated: i'm in contact with comraider and the post office to sort out what we can do in terms of an insurance claim.

Another side of the coin will be getting the old lady back in a running state again. No expert myself, but from what i've read, a makeshift (internal) fuseholder is not that hard to set up. If anyone has any pointers for us, they're more than welcome :)
