I'm looking for a dead 1020 disk drive. I have a CD / DVD slot drive and want to put it in this sort of case. I would prefer the drive to be dead as I would rather not ruin such rare hardware. :wink: .

I have here a 5.25 FDD drive (internal) that I have offered Chiark, he should get back to me today, if he dont want it would you?
not sure on postage to the bright and super sunny land of Oz though my friend.

Thankyou for the offer but I am after an external unit. as it's for a SCSI Drive to be connected to a SCSI Squirrel. You know I could have had a 1020 drive last week for $30 us but I decided not to buy it as in my heart I couldn't bare to pull a working drive to bits. I already own one but I won't be touching it.
As a last resort I may get a 1571 drive yet.
