Hi!

I'm building a just speccy and would love to find a broken /dead/ zx spectrum 48k to put it in

I dont need psu, board, keyboard, faceplate, just the plastic lower and upper to rebuild around! does anyone please have one? maybe you could then sell the psu and board to recoup and I pay for the case?

cheers!

Hi,
You can use a rubber key housing, however, it is very slim hence space limited. You will need to solder Your Slam ULA and multiplexor without a socket - wich is a bad idea. You'd better use a Spectrum+ housing instread, there is more space, and it looks more 128k-like.. There is also more space for Joystick port and card reader slot, so it looks more natural. I have tested both versions, and spectrum+ housing looks much better
regards,

Cook
