Hi

I picked up an Atari 800 yokes ago. The power supply is taped together, and I have read that the original power supply can/could damage MB/Memory; Hence I haven't tried powering it up. Could someone link/point me in the right direction for a replacement?

I believe its AC 9v (Not DC 5v 800XL)

Thanks

ive got an atari PSU ill check what it is, I have no idea what system its for,

will get back later.

Naa sorry, its 9v 900ma so im guessing (the end is male) Atari 2600

Keith,

As far as I know, the 800 runs off the same PSU as a 1050 - have you got a spare?

In terms of looking for a high street replacement, get in touch with Maplins and try and source this unit which I use without any problems whatsoever:

STONTRONICS N56DL outputs 9V AC 3.2Amps

Stontronics website over at: www.stontronics.co.uk

Good luck!

Is that (1050 PS) the one used for the tape deck/floppy drive?

Appreciate post (y)
