A little wish list here:

CPU:

  • UMC U5S or U5D Green CPU (So3 486-clone) Found

Motherboard:
  • MSI MS-6168 aka Packard Bell Bora Pro (Slot 1, uATX, i440BX chipset with Voodoo3 onboard) Found

  • UMC-based 486 VLB motherboard (not too choosy, 72p SIMM slots nice to have) Found
  • Motherboard with IBM 486DLC 'Blue Lightning' CPU
  • LPX form factor motherboards (ideally with Blue Lightning onboard, but potentially interested in anything to fill my case)
  • Nx586 motherboard (would even appreciate someone with such a board willing to test my NX586 CPU found board to test on
Cards:

  • VLB VGA+multi I/O combo board with UMC chipsets
  • AGP or (better) PCI Voodoo3 1000 8MB (sold in some OEM systems)
  • ISA MFM controller (+ cables) found

Misc:
  • always looking for small CF cards

Would most like to trade for stuff I have, but if I don't have what you're looking for by all means quote me a price. If an item is untested, that should be reflected in the price...

Stuff I have to trade (everything tested and working unless stated otherwise):
  • NexGen NX586 CPU (CPC-202, big silver heat spreader - unfortunately untested due to no motherboard) tested now: dead...
  • Seagate ST-412 HDD with original IBM black XT front plate. This is HDD type 1, the first PC (XT) HDD tested & working
  • Enhanced DM1M36SJ-15 (4MB) and DM2M36SJ-15 (8MB) EDRAM 72p SIMMs. For your Octek DCA2 HIPPO boards (untested due to no HIPPO)
  • FIC 486-GVT-2 motherboard (So3, BabyAT, Via VLB chipset, ISA and VLB slots, 72p and 30p SIMM, PS/2 mouse connector, 256kB L2 cache, i486DX-33)
  • FIC MIO-V VLB Multi I/O controller
  • Diamond Stealth Video VLB (S3 868, 2MB) swapped
  • Diamond Stealth Video 2500 PCI (Alliance ProMotion AT24, 2MB)
  • Miro 20SV PCI (S3 968, 2MB)
  • Aztech PCI338-A3D (Aureal Vortex)
  • Dawicontrol DC-974 PCI SCSI adapter with BootROM
  • AVM Fritz!Card PCI ISDN Controller
  • Iomega Z100ATAPI 3.5" internal Zip drive (Apple-branded with grey transparent front plate from PowerMac - untested with media, no Zip disks)
  • Dell Latitude D430 subnotebook (Core2Duo U7600, 2GB RAM, 32GB SSD, 12" 16x9 TFT, 3x3 MIMO dualband WiFi-n, new battery) - although I'm pretty attached to this one ;)
  • Dell Latitude D610 laptop (Pentium M 760, 1GB RAM, Radeon X300, 14" 4:3 TFT, 80GB HDD)
  • Dell Latitude D620 laptop (Core2Duo T7200, 1GB RAM, Intel GMA X3100, 14" 16:9 TFT, 80GB HDD)
  • Lenovo ThinkCenter A55 9640-7KG (Pentium Dual Core E2140, 4GB RAM, Intel GMA3000 (but also PCIe 16x on riser), 160GB HDD)
  • Point of View ION-MB330 motherboard (mITX, dual core Atom 330, nVidia Ion chipset, 2GB RAM, PCIe 16x, 4x SATA, GbE, VGA, HDMI, DVI - unfortunately no backplate)

Probably not - I should be receiving 3 untested MFM controllers in the post soon (together with a lot of the UMC stuff I want too) - but they might not work. In that case I'll PM you. Thanks for the heads-up in any case :)

If it all works like I hope, I'll be closing (or at least seriously altering) this thread - but I'll not count my chickens till they've hatched (and booted, and survived some stress testing).

Edit: one of the three controllers worked (after I sorted out incorrect jumpers), so definitively I don't need anymore.
