Video and audio gear for amateur video enthusiast

I'm selling a bunch of video and audio gear. I have made my best to describe the items as accurate as possible.

If interested in an item, declare interest in this thread and send me a PM. If you do not intend to buy, DO NOT declare interest. Payment is to be made as a gift/friend payment through PayPal. If you can not accept these terms DO NOT declare interest. These items are also for sale elsewhere.

To calculate shipping costs for individuel items, go to https://www.postnord.dk/en and click postage calculator.

If buying the whole lot, I'll give a discount of 60 EURO, making the cost of the items 200 EURO. In addition to that, I'll split the shipping cost with the buyer. Shipping the whole lot to Europe will cost 60 EURO, so 30 EURO for shipping. For other places, get in touch.

I have removed two items from the listing, and are lowering the price on the complete bundle to 100 EURO. In addition to that, I'll still split the shipping cost with the buyer. Shipping the whole lot to Europe will cost 60 EURO, so 30 EURO for shipping. For other places, get in touch.

Vidi Amiga 12 framegrabber/digitizer from Rombo Productions, black edition. When connected normaly the serial port is blocked by the Vidi Amiga 12. Therefore an extension cable is included to move the Vidi Amiga 12 further away from the Amiga, just in case you have serial devices attached to your Amiga.

No software is included, but it is as awailable on AHD.

This unit is tested and working. Testing has been made on an Amiga 1200 by using a Nintendo Wii connected to video in. The image can be grabbed (this time a colour image), and saved to disk. For some reason I couldn't save images when running the software from HDD, only when booting from the floppy with the Vidi Amiga 12 software.

BBoAH
The Vidi-Amiga 12 is a video digitizer which connects to the parallel port of the Amiga. It is capable of capturing realtime video in up to 16 grey-scales, or colour stills at up to 4096 colours (HAM-6) or 262,144 colours (HAM-8) from either a PAL or an NTSC source including SVHS. Sizes can be captured at up to 640x512 for PAL and 640 x 400 for NTSC. An absolutely still image is required for colour grabs, because the red, green and blue components are captured independantly then overlaid within the software. Fast processors not only improve the speed of the capture but increase the tolerance of a bad quality video source. Early models were supplied with a separate power supply, however the later models also connected to the floppy drive port for their power source.

AHD
realtime framegrabber
-grabs 4096 colour images in less than a second, or 16 gray level monochrome images in 1/50 seconds
-320512 PAL (interlaced)
-320400 NTSC (interlaced)
-displays images up to 640512
-can display images in 256 grays or in HAM8
-constantly updating monochrome preview
-colour images are grabbed in three passes (R, G, B) and mixed together by software
-one Composite and one S-VHS input - multiple video sources can be connected and selected by software
-takes power from the external floppy disk port

De Luxe View framegrabber/digitizer from Hagenau Computer, A500/A2000 model, indluding floppy disc with software (Deluxe View v4.0 and v4.1e).

This unit is tested and working. Testing has been made on an Amiga 1200 by using a Nintendo Wii connected to video in, and a TV connected to video out. The Wii output can be seen on the TV, and the image can be grabbed (a black/white image), and saved to disk.

BBoAH
A digitizer for the Amiga which connects to the Parallel port. There are two versions of this unit. One is designed for the A1000 because it's parallel port has a different gender to all other Amigas, whilst the other is intended for any other model.

AHD
framegrabber
-grabs images in 256 gray levels
-24 bit colour images can be obtained in three pass using an optional color splitter
-supported resolutions are 320200, 320400, 384240 (overscan), 384480 (overscan)
-video input RCA jack
-video output RCA jack for monitoring
-connects to the parallel port, power is taken from the joystick port

VLab Par Y/C, connects to parallel port. This version is with two composite in connectors only, no S-VHS input on this one.

Apparently non working. When launching the software, a requester comes up with a message that no VLab hardware is found.

BBoAH
The VLab is a video digitizer which connects to the parallel port of the Amiga. Not much is known about this unit, but it is unlikely to be as good as the Zorro II version of the VLab due to using a much slower connection.

AHD
realtime framegrabber
-24 bit realtime framegrabbing
-Interleaved Frame Recording
-grabs images quickly into its own memory but transferring and displaying through the parallel port is slow
-digitized images are stored in YUVN format
-3 MB, 30 ns DRAM
-two Composite and one S-VHS input - multiple video sources can be connected and selected by software
-TBC is not required
-VHI driver
-external power supply

DigiView Video Digitizer, framegrabber/digitizer, including gender changer, colour filter wheel and disk with software. Manual can be downloaded at BBoAH.

I can't get it to work. When loading the software, and trying to grab an image, the software says "No video signal present" even though the composite signal from an Amiga 600 is feed to the digitizer. Maybe it can only grab from certain sources?

BBoAH
The Digiview is a colour digitizer that plugs into the parallel port of the Amiga and contains an RCA socket for attaching the video source. It creates colour images by digitizing the video source in three passes. Each pass is processed through a different filter, (Red, Green, Blue) then combined to form a colour image. It can digitize in hi-res or lo-res, interlace or non-interlace, or overscan. It saves in either ECS formats (HAM6, EHB, 2-32 colour for images up to 360x480 or 2-16 colors in 720x480). It also has its own proprietary 21bit image format. Third party products such as an automatic filter changer and colour splitter were also available.

AHD
framegrabber
-digitizes colour images in three pass using a colour filter wheel
-the wheel has to be mounted on a monochrome camera and rotated for each successive scan - an optional motor drive (Digi-Droid) allows automatic rotation of the wheel
-the composite video signal is fed to the RCA jack on the DigiView unit
-12 bit accuracy in colour, 4 bit in monochrome
-connects to the A1000 parallel port, requires gender changer for later Amigas
-supports all Amiga resolutions for digitizing and display, from 320 200 to 768 480
-uses the Amiga RAM as framebuffer - requires at least 1 MB memory for functioning

Electronic Design Y-C-Genlock, including german manual. Conencts to RGB port.

This unit is tested and working. Only untested port is the RGB out on the genlock, as it doesn't support scandoublers. The Wii output can be seen on the TV, the Amiga video out can be seen on the TV or a mix of the two signals can be seen, depending on how the tweaks are set. When using colours, there is some distortion on the image.

Alter Image Genlock from The Disc Company, genlock, used for mixing composite input with Amiga RGB video source.

When connected to an A600, the video out is displayed correctly, from the composite out. Adding something to composite in, gives distortion on the image. However, RGB out, composite in or mixed source can be selected, but as mentioned, with image distortion.
