Sadly it seems that between Royal Mail and the Greek Postal system this Mac suffered some damage on route.
I've opened this thread so Macfan can post some pictures to see if we can help him diagnose a non booting issue.

Before the transaction completed I did warn MacFan that I wouldn't be able to insure the system as it is classed as a CRT Monitor but I would pack the system as best as possible and heavily mark it FRAGILE. Which my dear wife did :)

Shame what the couriers can do to these classic bits of kit

:(

Pictures from the machine. The machine unfortunately does not boot.

The main problem is that the machine does not boot.

I imagine you know all about this and some of it won't be relevant (leaky caps presumably a non-issue) but see here

Try to reseat ram etc?

Hi ratfink

I recapped this board myself about 8 years ago when I first got the Mac as there was no audio, it's never displayed that screen though throughout all the time I have had it.
I wonder if any damage may have occoured due to the hard impact.

Yes i know because I have already enough compact Macs but the machine bought as working.I have tried to reseat memory and rom simms but nothing.Next step is to wash motherboard.

Actually my next step would be to inspect the board with Magnifying lens to see if there are any cracks or breaks due to the large impact the unit suffered.

I have done anything. But without luck.I threw £90 to the bin.Only lines at the boot...
