Anyone know of an keyboard converter/adaptor for the Amiga500. That will make it possible, to use an 2000, 3000 or 4000 keyboard on Amiga500 machines?

Or perhaps have an idea on how to create an external Amiga500 keyboard, using the original 500 keyboard.

I believe an A2000 keyboard should work more or less directly. You just need to connect the right pins together:

Specifically, you need to connect CLK, DATA, +5v and Gnd. Ctrl-A-A might not be working though.

The amiga 500 keyboard is already a full keyboard. You could mount it on a piece of plexiglass for the back with some feet, and make the cable longer. Put the cable in some cable sleeving https://www.ebay.com/itm/4mm-27-Col...hash=item23a171ca19:m:my192R0HmJpljmx7g8BIavQ, and finish with heat shrinks https://www.ebay.com/itm/328Pcs-Hea...638290&hash=item56ae8f90f4:g:TCoAAOSw9LlakxEy

And decide if you wan't compatible connector demoliton posted. There are many din plugs on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Pin-MIDI...178114?hash=item41d70316c2:g:QpgAAOSwi8xaOvON

Thanks for inputs and idea's. I think the best way for an external, is to create some kind of wiring. Then what solution would be the best, when dealing with the actual keyboard case? A loose 500 keyboard is not exactly the most beautifull one.
