Just wanted to say, that these boards and component packs are very nicely made. Everything is clearly labelled which makes it a pleasure to assemble the whole thing in about 45 minutes. The board fits the INNEXT controller case perfectly.

Only two tips/remarks that probably should go to the instructions:

    1) If you, like me, program the Atmega yourself, be aware that newer versions of avrdude don't allow the E-fuse to be burned to 0x05 as a value. If you try to do this verification will return 0xfd, which is just fine as it turns out, because it means the same as 0x05.

    2) Be very careful when soldering in the oscillator. This small package easily gets heat saturated and if it does, the crystal dies (One of mine did, unfortunately, while I was trying to align it during soldering). Just align it very carefully on the pads BEFORE starting to solder and keep your dwell time to a minimum.

    Anyway, great work @witchmaster!

    Just my 2 cents,
    Torsten

Kit received in Australia 2 days ago. Great stuff!
    Leaving positive feedback now.

Thanks for the feedback! I will add these things to the instructions, I will probably also make a small troubleshooting guide. Most problems so far has come down to solder bridges or otherwise "sloppy"soldering.

Currently, the best price to get the Innext gamepads seems to be in this evilbay listing. Hopefully cheaper alternatives will show up again soon though.

I really don't have any soldering skills. Is it possible to purchase the board prepopulated with the components?
    Thanks in advance,
    Cole

Please put me down for one kit as well with a preprogrammed chip. Ill take a shot at soldering the chip in place.
    Thanks!
