Hi does anyone have a 68882 FPU at 40 or 50 mhz they want to sell?

It needs to be PGA 68pin (I'm told), and obviously working order. It's to fit an ACA1233n accelerator.

Many thanks, Pete.

Hi Madpete,
Have you found it already?
I have got an ACA1233n myslef and I found some information that MC68882RC50A is the one we need.
I am new to Amiga Scene (came back after many years) so I might be mistaken.

If you have found the processor to your card already, would you please advise what it was?

Hello, the 68882rc50a is the correct one, be cautious of relabeled junk from China.

Some masks of 33mhz can do 50mhz too, but that's trial and error to see if they work or not.

Maybe somebody is aware of the exact mask in here.

Maybe a noob question, but how does one determine the mask of a CPU?

I have just received a brand new ACA1233n-40 but it has a 33mhz 68030 CPU, is this an overclocked 33 to 40 or maybe a higher spec CPU that's stamped at 33

BTW, excited for my first post here at Amibay :arms

Only way to tell for sure is to try the cpu/fpu and see if its stable.

However most plcc cpu's I've had rated at 33 could do 40. Half as many roughly of the 40 could do 50.

I have one 33mhz fpu that does 50mhz without problems... Oh the lottery [emoji28]
